Well. It is summer. And what a summer it's been.
Last week of May - Theresa and I on a trip of a lifetime to Ireland for our 20th anniversary! Great!
First week of June - youth camp! Great!
Next week - Theresa goes with mom to Kentucky where a great aunt was moved to hospice. Tough but great ministry in the midst of it.
Next week - Andrew and I to Scout Camp. Great.
Next week - Theresa and some of the kids to Kentucky again to meet parents for the funeral of her great aunt.
Next week - Family vacation to Florida with a beach day and a day at Disney Hollywood Studios. Great!
Now - home. Approaching some 'normalcy' and excited to be back to preaching after several weeks off for the anniversary trip and for June's "One Prayer" series.
Wow.
God is good and we've seen it in so many varied ways over this most recent 'sprint.'
And here is where I say something witty/pithy - hmmm...
